"Medium-light to medium ruby; attractive, intense, dark plum and black cherry fruit aroma with notes of mineral and spices that developed with airing; medium-full body; fleshy, plummy, herbal, cherry and red berry fruit flavors that are well balanced and firmly structured; medium to medium-full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Rather tight at present and needing some bottle aging. Very highly recommended."

"Medium-light to medium ruby with a purplish tinge; attractive, forward, intense, plummy, black cherry and dark berry fruit aroma with hints of forest floor and cola; medium full body; rich, fleshy, plummy, black cherry and berry fruit flavors with a hint of clove, and a smooth, velvety mouthfeel; medium to medium-full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Very highly recommended."
