DESCRIPTION:One of everyone’s favorite events each year is back! Join us for the annual Pruning Seminar for an interactive and immersive vineyard experience. The day begins with coffee and pastries while Benovia’s viticulturist\, Chris Kangas\, discusses how to properly prune and train the vines. Then put what you learned to practice right away as you work with our team to prune and train a block in the vineyard! \nFollowing the vineyard demonstration and hands-on experience\, enjoy a boxed lunch followed by a wine tasting led by our tasting room staff. \nThis event occurs rain or shine\, so please dress accordingly as the ground may be muddy or wet. We recommend that you wear comfortable boots and layers. \nTickets are limited to 4 per reservation.\n$100 for Club Members / $125 for Non-Club Members

Immerse yourself in the vineyards for an hour hike around our Martaella Estate Vineyard in the heart of the Russian River Valley led by our knowledgeable vineyard manager Chris Kangas. \nFind out what is happening in the vineyards so far this season and how all the little things that happen can influence the vintage. \nTaste some wines next to the vineyard it came from along the way\, and after the walk enjoy a seated tasting of our wines sourced from the vineyard you just walked. \nSunday April 22 \n10am to 12:30pm \n$40 / $20 Benovian Club Members \nChris has over 30 years of experience farming vineyards in Sonoma County and is excited to share his passion with you. \nWe welcome your well behaved leashed dogs to join us!
